
Cultivated, dried Cordyceps militaris, in a bright orange colour that is impossible to miss! This little club-shaped mushroom is grown on a plant substrate (no insects involved), then carefully dried to keep its freshness and colour.
The taste is mild and slightly sweet, with mushroom and hazelnut notes. It tints liquids a lovely golden orange.
Common uses:
- Infused: 2 to 3 grams per cup of hot water, steep 10 minutes
- Ground in a coffee grinder, then added to a smoothie, a latte, a soup or a broth
- Raw, nibbled as is, or rehydrated in a stir-fry or a rice dish
Origin: grown in China.
