Ingredients to discover

Pinus strobus: raw, ethically harvested resin from the forests of Québec. Hand-gathered, sorted, then aged for 2 years so its aroma develops and its texture settles.

White pine resin is paler and softer than Scots pine: its tears are clear, almost white, and its scent is fine, fresh, slightly lemony, with a honeyed base. It is one of the most pleasant resins to burn.

These resins can serve as a base ingredient for:
- Ointments, oils and macerates (infuse in vegetable oil over a gentle double boiler or in the sun for several weeks)
- Salves and lip balms, with a little wax
- Incense, burned on charcoal one small piece at a time
- Natural varnishes and glues

Tip: a little oil or strong alcohol is all you need to clean your tools. Keeps indefinitely in a closed container, away from heat — and its fragrance keeps refining with time.
