"Boreal Forest" Kit

Forget expensive, diluted extracts: try the forest plants in their raw state! This kit brings together three classics of our woods, to boil as a decoction, plus our PolyporEver extract.

In this kit:
- Local dried chaga: 60 g
- Organic dried Ontario reishi: 20 g
- Astragalus root: 50 g
- PolyporEver extract 30 ml: chaga, reishi and usnea concentrate in organic vegetable glycerin

Preparation: reishi, chaga and astragalus — boil 5 minutes, steep 10 minutes, then drink. They can be prepared together or separately. Suggested amount: 3 to 5 grams total per litre of water. The pieces can be re-boiled 3 to 4 times.

The decoction is dark brown, with a woody taste: slightly bitter for reishi, softer and vanilla-like for chaga, sweet for astragalus. Suggestion: pairs wonderfully with ginger, turmeric, chai spices, a little honey or milk.

The glycerin extract travels more easily when you are on the go: a few drops in a glass of water.
