Pure Haitian vetiver essential oil. Superb quality, a powerful aroma with smoky, burnt, herbaceous and earthy notes, over a slightly sweet base that settles in with time.
Vetiver is a grass that grows in the dunes; its deep, bushy root is incredibly aromatic. This essence is distilled in Haiti, home of the most celebrated vetiver in the world. It is thick and amber-coloured, and its scent is remarkably tenacious — the base note par excellence.
Contains: Vetiveria zizanioides essential oil, 100% pure.
Common uses:
- In a diffuser, a few drops, to fill a room with a woody, smoky scent
- Diluted in a vegetable oil (a few drops per 30 ml) as a skin perfume
- As a base note in your own compositions, with frankincense, ambergris or our pine resins
- A drop on a piece of wood or cloth, tucked in a drawer or wardrobe
Concentrated essential oil: always dilute before applying to the skin. Store away from light; its fragrance rounds out over the years.
